A principios de siglo y tras tomar posesión de la dirección de Nintendo, Iwata detectó ciertos problemas en la industria de videojuego que, casi sin saberlo, se encontraba en una crisis. Una vez analizadas las causas de la misma emprendió un cambio de dirección en las política de Nintendo que terminó cristalizándose en el lanzamiento de Nintendo Wii.

En este episodio abordaremos las causas de esta crisis y los motivos que provocaron este cambio en Nintendo que persiste a día de hoy y sigue creando polémica en ciertos sectores.
