En este episodio de Entreprenerd, conversamos con Alfredo García, fundador de "Dando la Hora", empresa que acaba de diseñar, crear y lanzar -desde Chile- el primer reloj digital de Latinoamérica.
Todo comenzó como un apasionado de la relojería desde niño y siempre tuvo la idea de dedicarse a este campo.
Después de años de aprendizaje y colaboraciones, finalmente logró diseñar y fabricar su propio reloj digital.
El proceso tomó tiempo, desde las pruebas iniciales hasta el lanzamiento del producto. A pesar de las limitaciones de los microcomponentes en Chile, pudo diseñar una placa programable y personalizar el reloj con características únicas, como el himno nacional y un contador para el 18 de septiembre (Fiestas Patrias de Chile)

In this episode of Entreprenerd, we talk with Alfredo García, founder of "Dando la Hora", company that has created, produced and launched the first digital -from Chile- of Latinamerica.
Alfredo has been passionate about watchmaking since childhood and always dreamed of working in this field. After years of learning and collaborating, he finally managed to design and manufacture his own digital watch.
The process took some time, from initial testing to the product launch. Despite the limitations of microcomponents in Chile, he was able to design a programmable board and customize the watch with unique features, such as the national anthem and a counter for September 18.
