Gabriel García Márquez is considered the most important writer of the 20th century. He was the precursor of the "Magical Realism" with the novel One Hundred Years of Solitude, by the way he describes with words to Mocando, place where the story is told. With this novel he won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982. He is also the first and only Colombian to have this award.
