Biografía

Rubén López, nacido en Madrid en 1979, desde muy temprana edad empezó a trabajar como deejay en pequeñas salas de la localidad madrileña de Coslada a la edad de 14 años. En un principio sus intereses musicales fueron la musica Funky y el Soul, pero en la época de la conocida como “RUTA DEL BACALAO”empezó a trabar en distintos locales de música electrónica en la que se le podía escuchar música Techno y Techno-Pop.

Sobre 1999 conoció la música House que se ponía en Madrid en los locales de ambiente como GOA, Midday o Morocco. a partir de entonces su gusto por la música cambio, tendiendo mas a sonidos Houseros. Influenciado por la rama de la música House mas americana, y de DJ´s como Mark Farina, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, Colette o DJ Heather, comenzó a poner la música que le gustaba en distintos locales de Madrid y Badajoz.

Hoy en día, sus gustos musicales son variados y no se centra en un solo estilo musical. Se le puede escuchar en sus sesiones sonidos Tech-House, Progressive House o al techno más pistero dependiendo de la ocasión. Durante su carrera ha pasado por muchas cabinas de salas conocidas de España, entre ellas las salas Backstage, Deluxe, Wind, Blackstar, Desigual,  Ilussions Badajoz, Disco Jardín, La Divina Bilbaoy Urban Festival entre otras. En su vertiente más tranquila se le puede escuchar pinchando Deep House y Soulful, siendo asiduo a eventos de moda como las fiestas Fashion Night Out de Voge y fiestas de la revista Cosmopolitan, a la vez que es DJ Oficial de la firma de ropa Adolfo Dominguez y dj de la terraza del hotel “The Principal en Madrid”.

Biography

Rubén López, born in Madrid in 1979, from an early age began working as a deejay in small venues in the Madrid town of Coslada at the age of 14. Nowadays, his musical tastes are varied and he doesn't focus on just one musical style. He can be heard in his sessions with Tech-House, Progressive House or more track-oriented techno depending on the occasion. During his career he has passed through many booths in well-known venues in Spain, including Backstage, Deluxe, Wind, Blackstar, Desigual, Ilussions Badajoz, Disco Jardín, La Divina Bilbao and Urban Festival, among others. In his quieter side, he can be heard playing Deep House and Soulful, being a regular at fashion events such as Voge's Fashion Night Out parties and Cosmopolitan magazine parties, while also being the Official DJ of the Adolfo Dominguez clothing firm. and dj on the terrace of the hotel “The Principal in Madrid”.
