In this podcast we will explore our relationship with food and create better habits around it. Specifically touching on what is emotional eating and a few things that can help us understand, manage it and maybe overcome it.

Including a few extra things that could help you Re-learn how to ground yourself and listen to your body’s wisdom:

Mindful eating. Eating in a quiet space, without distractions or screens. Trying to enjoy each spoonful.
Learning how to focus on the solution rather than just the problem
Explore, in a safe space, the resistance you might be experiencing towards change
Observe the language you use towards food.
Learn to indulge without overeating
Creating a balanced strategy rather than focusing on an extreme solution
Going to a wellness retreat to reset your mindset and habits
Re-adjusting your mindset, potentially working with an experienced and accredited life coach (like me!)
Health mentoring with a naturopath or a nutritionist (if you are in Panama I recommend Male Giraldo and Claudia Lora both brilliant and with mindful approaches to nutrition. If you are in the UK I recommend Wellbeing Expert and Nutrition Coach Rachel Watson from The Wellbeing Programme and Naturopath Allison from Cleanse for Living (who is actually starting a new group cleanse program in September that I will be doing to help my body release toxins and get ready for the autumn). Remember, whoever you choose to work with, please make sure you resonate with them and that they are qualified professionals).
Explore different strategies like Neurolinguistic programming, Emotional freedom techniques, hypnotherapy and CBT with an accredited practitioner.
Remembering that the real problem is WHY we eat too much and not how much we eat or drink. The addressing the root will help us heal.
And most importantly, always remember that there is always hope.
