Síntesis del Episodio
Hello and welcome to this episode!
Traditionally, Box breathing, also known as four-square breathing, involves exhaling to a count of four, holding your lungs empty for a four-count, inhaling at the same pace, and holding air in your lungs for a count of four before exhaling and beginning the pattern anew.
Some benefits of box breathing, include:
Reduces physical stress symptoms in the body.
Positively affects emotions and mental well-being.
Increases mental clarity, energy, and focus.
Improves future reactions to stress.
This technique can be beneficial to anyone, especially those who want to meditate or reduce stress. It's used by everyone from athletes to U.S. Navy SEALs, police officers, and nurses.
The way I practice box breathing is imagining a window. And following my inhalation, pause, exhalation, pause using the 4 sides of the window frame. You are welcome to try this technique using the traditional way counting to 4 but if you want to try something slightly different join me for the next few moments….
As always, my doors are open to anyone looking to get some help letting go of limiting beliefs, create more resourceful habits and heal the relationship with themselves.
