Ep 68. INTERVIEW: Paul Moxness, Managing Partner NorthPoint Int | The Always Care Consulting Co. CANADA
Paul joined Radisson as a security guard just to get a temporary job. 30 years later, he retired from the company as VP of Corporate Safety and Security.
Now, he runs two companies: NorthPoint Int, where they offer affordable access to Safety and Security expertise to independent properties; and The Always Care Consulting Co., which he founded with his wife.
In June 2021 his first book will be published: “Spin the Bottle Service – Hospitality in the Age of AI”. On it, Paul shares his view about the impact of technology on the hospitality industry and how the “moments of Truth” (as K. Ritter used to call them) are disappearing.
In our conversation Paul covers:
-Over 30 years of professional experience, anecdotes, the increased need of Security as threats increase too.
-How Safety and Security are usually linked to negative thoughts, when in reality they are there precisely to prevent anything bad happening.
-Advice for the young looking for their first opportunity.
and invites us all to join “The Kindness Games” on LinkedIn, an initiative to shrare acts of kindness with other peers.
