Ep 66 Interview: Federica Salvatori | Revenue Management Director | Consultant | Lecturer. Rome (Italy)

While finalizing her linguistics PhD, Federica felt her passion for the analytical side of hospitality.
And that took her to several roles in different Hotels, growing up the ranks, to reach a Cluster Revenue Management role, specialized in pre-openings.

Currently she spreads her time between consulting, lecturing, broadcasting and creating content.

On our conversation, she shared interesting messages:

-The pandemic has brought some positives, such as hotels being more creative with the use and maximization of their spaces, and embracing technology.

-Tech has to be seen from the revenue point of view as a FACILITATOR, to focus on analysis and strategy.

Tips for the young:

-Invest in yourself
-Always keep learning and reading
-Be open minded when it comes to job hunting, there are hundreds of paths in the industry
-Research companies
-Invest time and effort in networking
