We must find healthy ways to release these intense emotions..
- For me is Painting 🧑🏽🎨 Drawing
- Music, I wake up with music and end my day with music
- Movement - exercise, dancing, walking, I have a friend who is into boxing 🥊 I have done boxing 🥊 a few times but is not my thing but I can at sure you it will definitely help release anger and frustration.
- Screaming - if you can’t scream loud scream into a pillow.
- A long drive on the highway 🛣 or back roads where toy get to see beautiful nature if that’s available to you Can clear your mind tremendously
- Nature - if I can not be in nature I stick my head out of my window 🪟 to take few deep breathes, it completely shifts my mood.
- Be Aware of the overuse of alcohol or narcotics to make you feel “quote on quote better”
1. Think before you speak. In the heat of the moment, it's easy to say something you'll later regret. ...
2. Once you're calm, express your anger. ...
3. Take a timeout. ...
5. Identify possible solutions. ...
6. Listen to your body, if you feel like laying in bed all day and that’s available and possible for you do that.
7. Reach out for help
8. Stick with 'I' statements. ...
9. Don't hold a grudge. ...
10. Use humor to release tension.
