We commemorate one year since the devastating DANA that affected the East of the country, with catastrophic consequences especially in the region of Valencia. More than 200 people lost their lives. Christian Lesaec, president of the Association of DANA Victims Horta Sud, told us about the current situation in the affected areas.One of the conclussions of the report, "Disinformation during the 2024 DANA crisis in Spain", published in Revista Mediterránea de Comunicación, shows that disinformation and hoaxes were an obstacle to proper emergency management. In the week in which we also celebrate the "Media and Information Literacy Week", we attended the "Conference against disinformation" organized by media association, CLABE.
