This is the first episode of The Medwave Podcast in English. We present three articles that were published in January 2021 in Medwave. The first one is a descriptive cross-sectional study on the clinical characteristics and outcomes of hospitalized children with COVID-19 in Lima, Peru. The second article is a methodological note on rapid reviews: what they are and their uses. The third article is an analysis of a national survey administered to ENT residents in Chile to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on ENT specialty training.
