Aging brings changes, and it can also bring grief for the body we once had, the roles that have changed, the people who are no longer with us, or the stage of life we have left behind. Recognizing those losses matters, but so does remembering everything we are still capable of learning, creating, and contributing. In this episode of Transforming Grief, I reflect on how we can look at aging from a broader and more compassionate perspective.Three ideas to take with you:• Your age tells you how many years you have lived, but it does not define who you are or your worth.• Aging also means gaining experience, resilience, perspective, and wisdom.• Life may look different at this stage, but different does not mean less. You can still learn, begin new projects, discover talents, and write new chapters of your story.Perhaps the question is no longer what you used to be able to do, but: What do you want to do with the life you have today? The years ahead still belong to you.Ligia M.
