Name: Carlos Fonseca Dos Santos Place of Birth: Manacor, Mallorca (Spain) Carlos Fonseca Dos Santos was born in 1981 in Manacor, a small town in the east of Mallorca, Spain. Originally from Cape Verde Islands, he has been a music enthusiast since childhood. As he grew up, he developed a strong passion for the music and dance of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. With a great musical taste, Carlos, who has now had a 20-year musical journey, has trained himself extensively, delving into various musical styles to cater to different audiences, ranging from jazz to the purest form of techno. There's no style that eludes him, as Carlos paid close attention to the music his teacher introduced him to in high school. His favorite musical style ranges from dark tech-house to techno and psy-trance. He has complete control over the House music family. Carlos Fons has crafted his own unique music style, always aiming to make his audience raise their arms in pure excitement when they listen to his tracks. In 1996, he started as a Light Jockey at a pub called "Pub es Golf" in the eastern part of Mallorca, where he used Technics Mk2 turntables and Denon CD players at that time. Since then, he has performed using vinyl records and CDs. In those days, in addition to good music, one had to master vinyl manipulation to adjust the BPM, which was highly valued. Until this day, Carlos Fons has played in almost all the major clubs and pubs on the island. He also worked as a radio host at FM Global Mallorca Radio in 2008 and collaborated in significant events with Radio Balear. Many DJs on the island are familiar with him to this day. He began his DJ journey in 1996. In 1999, he created his own club with his friends called "Empire Killer Sounds," where they organized various events and festivals. After 18 years, the club closed, and now Carlos Fons is part of another club called "zarabunda festival," where he continues to host events and parties at www.facebook.com/zarabundafestival. Apart from being a professional DJ, he is also a music producer, with an extensive selection of his own songs in the tech-house and techno styles, released on major international labels.
