Goi Kopher (Madrid, 1973) is a DJ and producer based in Gran Canaria, and one of the defining figures of the Canary Islands' electronic scene for over two decades. A self-taught musician, his roots trace back
to the breakdance, beatbox and breakbeat of the late '80s, shaped by the soul sounds of the era.
He earned his first residency at Amnesia Las Palmas in 1996, opening a long run of sessions and collaborations alongside island and European artists (Los Suruba, Chris Latner, Audiofly). He has hosted
radio shows, judged regional DJ championships and taught DJing at the Official Music School of Las Palmas.
He began producing in 2003. After early releases on labels such as Beatfreak and Blanco y Negro, his
work reached the international circuit through Lucidflow (Berlin), Overall Music, Raw Traxx, Mooncircles Lab and Revival Records, among others. A relentless entrepreneur, he is co-founder of
Orgánica and Kuningan Day, CEO of Komite and founder of Koexistenz Booking & Management. Today he leads his own project and label, ATLANTIKA MUSIC bringing together his roles as DJ, producer and promoter.
His melodic, emotion-driven sets remain the truest introduction to an artist who continues to shape the
sound of the islands.
